Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Bikestack. By creating an account or using the service you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About the service

Bikestack ("the Service") is a bicycle management platform operated by Feral Ventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. The Service allows users to catalogue bikes, log components and maintenance, sync ride data from Strava, and share public build pages.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bikestack. If you are under 18 you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when registering.
Notify us immediately at hello@bikestack.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or any part of the Service's infrastructure.
Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission.
Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any other malicious content.
Impersonate another person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, build descriptions, notes). By uploading content you grant Feral Ventures Limited a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that content you upload does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable law.

Public build pages are visible to anyone on the internet. Do not include sensitive personal information (home address, precise location, financial information) in public-facing fields.

6. Maintenance information — important disclaimer

Maintenance schedules, service intervals, component recommendations, and any other technical information provided through Bikestack (whether sourced from our catalog, entered by users, or auto-populated from third-party sources) are provided for informational purposes only.

Feral Ventures Limited and Bikestack:

are not qualified bicycle mechanics or authorised service providers;
make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any maintenance information on the Service;
do not guarantee that following any maintenance schedule or interval will keep a bicycle safe, roadworthy, or in good working order;
accept no liability for damage to bicycles, components, property, or any consequential losses arising from reliance on information provided through the Service;
accept no liability for personal injury, death, or any harm arising from maintenance decisions informed by the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out safely and correctly. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified and appropriately insured bicycle mechanic for all safety-critical servicing. Maintenance intervals may vary significantly depending on riding conditions, component age, and individual usage — the Service cannot account for all such variables.

7. Paid plans and billing

Bikestack offers a free Basic plan and paid Plus and Pro plans. When paid plans become available:

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Service availability and data

We aim to keep Bikestack available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Feral Ventures Limited is not liable for:

loss of data, however caused, including hardware failure, software bugs, or service interruptions;
indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the Service;
loss resulting from third-party service failures (Strava, Supabase, Cloudflare, Resend).

We recommend keeping your own records of important maintenance history and not relying solely on Bikestack as the sole source of that information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Third-party integrations

Bikestack integrates with Strava. Use of Strava is subject to Strava's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Strava's availability, accuracy, or changes to their API.

Disconnecting Strava from your Bikestack account stops future syncing but does not delete previously synced ride data. You can request deletion of ride data separately via privacy@bikestack.app.

10. Intellectual property

All rights in Bikestack's software, design, logo, and catalog data are owned by Feral Ventures Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service in the normal way.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the Service, or if we cease operating. Where possible we will give advance notice, except where immediate termination is required to protect other users or the Service.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
